An Easter Retreat at Eye Abbey, Suffolk. April 21st-24th 2011
A group of local meditators have been conducting retreats for the past five years at The Abbey in Eye. Now privately owned, this was one of the earliest Benedictine foundations in Norman England. The retreat will be silent and will begin on Maundy Thursday. There will be the option of taking part in the Easter liturgy at the neighbouring parish church. Plus structured times of talks, meditation and walking in the beautiful grounds of the Abbey and surrounding countryside. The retreat will be led by members of the WCCM Oblate community.
