Wed 22nd Feb 7:30pm - 9:00pm

You are invited to join our weekly meditation group for Ash Wednesday. Participation in a simple liturgical act reminds us of our finite human nature as in humility we entrust ourselves to the infinite nature of God. This will combine with a 25minute period of meditation.

Do come along if you can.

Meditation and Art
Sat 28th Apr 11:00am - 4:00pm

This will be a  day conducted by Roland Micklewright for anyone interested in the relationship between art and meditation. It is not at all necessary  to be 'good' at art- the emphasis will be on enjoying an experiential day where simple art-making activity will mingle naturally with short sessions of sitting and walking meditation.

There will be a nominal charge of £5 per person to cover the cost of materials. Numbers will be limited to 15 so please reply early to book yourself a place. Bring a packed lunch and drinks will be provided. Further information from Roland will be forwarded to anyone interested in booking a place.

Sat 7th Jul 11:00am - 4:00pm

Music and its effect upon the mind has been recognised since ancient times. We will be looking at a modern connection between music and meditation based on our own experience. You are invited to bring along a CD of music that speaks to you in a particular way-or maybe some music you would like to perform. Please also bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided and will be served from 10.30 ready for a prompt start at 11am.

See you there!
